Cancellation Policy:
Play Date Appointments:
NO FEE if canceled more than 3 days before the start of services.
50% of service due if canceled 2 days before the start of services. Deadline of 3pm.
100% due if canceled after 3pm 2 days before the start of services or sooner.
100% cancellation fee applies for a trip that ends prematurely or with early arrival once the services have begun.
Clients enrolled in our Platinum Paws Royalty Program receive 1 free cancellation per month.
Invoices will be processed at the time of cancellation.
Slumber Party & Pampurr Party Appointments:
NO FEE if canceled at least 10 days before the start of scheduled services.
50% due if canceled between 9 days and 5 days before scheduled services commence. Deadline of 3pm on the 9th day.
100% cancellation if canceled less than 5 days before the start of service. Deadline of 3pm on the 5th day. Please note: Due to the limited nature of services, we do enforce this cancellation policy strictly.
100% fee applies for a trip that ends prematurely or with early arrival once the services have begun.
Invoices will be processed at the time of cancellation.
Other Services:
50% due if canceled less than 48 hours of scheduled service. This applies to services that are not Play Dates or Slumber Parties.
Invoices will be processed at the time of cancellation regardless of service type.
A one-time consultation charge of $20.00 will be applied if a consultation is made but the assignment is canceled within 48 hours.
A fee of up to $25 for same day or emergency services may be assessed to new clients when less than 48 hour notice is provided.
Holiday Fee's are $10.00 additional fee per household per visit ( Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples day, Halloween 4p-close, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve 4p-close, New Years Day )
Out of Territory Fee's are $10.00 additional fee per household per visit.
A $10 urgent care fee will be added to any services scheduled after 3PM for next-day (or same-day) service.
A $10 Late Night or Early Morning Fee will be added to any services scheduled Between the hours of 9pm-7am
If circumstances beyond PDX Purrfessionals’ control require a team member to wait more than 10 minutes total for key pick up or key return from apartment staff, or they are unable to access a building (call box malfunction or non-response) after repeated attempts, the services may need to be rescheduled, or additional charges may apply and will be assessed in 30 min increments based on an established hourly rate.
In the event that collection becomes necessary the client(s) shall be held responsible for any and all fees incurred for any legal procedures.
Additional Information:
Our Platinum Paws Loyalty Program - Clients with an established weekly template of at least 3 services per week receive 1 free cancellation per month. Must have recurring schedule for automatic weekly booking.
Payment is accepted by credit/debit card on file, except where other arrangements have been explicitly made.
PDX Purrfessionals charges based on scheduled services & the current posted standard rates for service on the Company Website. No deductions shall be made for late departure or early return of Owner.
Clients shall be responsible for providing pet food, Harnesses & leads that are appropriate for pets needs and free of damage, pet waste bags, litter, cleaning supplies, clean bedding & a clean adult sized bed for slumber party care, unexpected visits and emergency expenses for health care. Additional charges may be assessed for additional expenses such as parking fees when no free parking is reasonably accessible or provided to the pet sitter. Company shall retain and submit receipts as proof of required additional expenses, if necessary.
PDX Purrfessionals billing practices are as such that our company provides invoices at the time your booking is scheduled. A card must be kept on file to schedule and have services completed. You can review your invoice at any time and your invoice will automatically be processed on the 1st day of your booking. If there are changes to your services during your booking then upon the completion of your sit the credit or debit card held on file is auto-charged the remaining amount. Multiple play date clients are invoiced weekly unless other arrangements have been made.
PDX Purrfessionals reserves the right to ask for payment prior to service during peak seasons or upon failure to pay an invoice by its due date.
Unpaid balances shall be charged a non-refundable 10% finance charge after 10 days from the last day of service.
A fee of up to $25 for same day or emergency services may be assessed when less then 36 hour notice is provided. A $10 urgent care fee will be added to any services scheduled after 3PM for next-day (or same-day) service.
Clients shall be responsible for paying $35.00 for all returned checks.
